Volunteers needed

We need each group to supply 1 or 2 volunteer to help with the running of this event. Jobs are below please send the name of the person or persons and what position they would prefer to do. All jobs can be shared. The volunteer will need to be there by 9:00 am.

Please let Jerry Billups billups@cablerocket.com    Ph  #495-3362 or 498-1848 know as soon as possible which positions you or someone in your group can volunteer for.

Announcer – 1 person needed

with the PA system, call cubs for their race and provide commentary.

Registration - 4 people needed-

Find individual Cub name and number on the computer printout. Put their number on a sticker and put it on the TOP of the Kub Kar and pass it along for inspection. Have them write their Kub Kar number on the back of their hand. The numbered sticker shows that they have paid.

If they are NOT on the computer printout assign the next number for their group (this must be a unique number, no replicates), put their name and number on the printout. When late arrivals come after their group has finished registration mark them on the printout as LATE. Late arrivals and those not on the original printout will have to have their first race after all the groups have raced but before the Grand Howl. These comments on the printout will be used to update the computer file.

INSPECTION- 4 people needed-

Check the weight of each Kub Kar on the tested scale. Inspect the Kub Kars for size, bearing, bushings, possible clearance problems and weight. Try to comment on design, paint job, creativity, Cub built, etc. as this may be the ONLY time that anyone really give the Cub credit for their Kub Kars. Once the Kub Kar passes the inspection initial the number sticker and gives the kub kar back to the Cub for his 1st race in number order on the Computerized Track.

When a Kub Kar does not pass inspection it does not get initialed but is given to the Cub to get some help to fix the problem. The line should not be held up while someone does more than a minor alteration.

After the Grand Howl when registration is finished the Inspectors and Registers can compile the Group packages using the updated computer printout to obtain the numbers per group in attendance.

NOTE: A KUB KAR CAN BE REINSPECTED AND REWEIGHED ANY TIME DURING THE RACE SCHEDULE.
